What should be considered when installing a vibration damper?

The rubber-metal elements and vibration dampers must be installed with the usual care, using suitable tools and in a suitable manner without applying excessive force.

Damage to the article surface by foreign bodies or tools and the jamming of foreign bodies between the vibration damper and the mounting body must be avoided.

Rubber-to-metal articles should be in full contact with the mounting surfaces as far as possible.

Unless otherwise specified, tightening torques for bolts must be selected according to property class 5.
