What is styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR)?

The oldest synthetic rubber is SBR. It is also still the most widely used synthetic rubber today, as it can be used together with
natural rubber
used in tire construction. In terms of structure, the NR was kept very close at the time, resulting in similar properties. Compared to NR, SBR has similar ductility, better abrasion
abrasion resistance
heat and

resistance, but poorer elasticity.
elasticity
and
flexibility at low temperatures
.

Two thirds of global production is used in tire manufacturing.
